Child’s Own Studio – a fabulous little business in a delicious pickle

I usually love sharing the names of fabulous small businesses because every Kitchen Table Tycoon needs a little extra exposure. Or do they?

Reading this wonderful blog post from Child’s Own Studio I see-sawed about writing about the business. They are drowning in orders!

But I love the idea of Child’s Own studio – it’s simple yet clever, it’s beautifully executed and it’s a wonderful product. So I wanted to share it….but only after I had submitted my order!

Clearly it takes ages to make these gorgeous customised toys and I like Wendy’s honesty about this in the blog post here.

What would you do if you were in owner Wendy Tsao’s shoes and completely swamped with orders?

Would you raise prices or hire staff or would you find a different way to solve the problem?
