I got a new toy today! To help me be organised.

organising quote

My new toy is an Epson LabelWorks 600P printer! It’s dinky and cute and is VERY fun for making labels! I’m a bit of a labeller. Are you? I label all the kids stuff (of course) but I’m also a big at labelling everything in my home office. I label files, power cords, drawers , boxes, USBs…..maybe labelling is what I do when I’m procrastinating?!  Anyhoo, today I’ve spent ages playing with the Epson LabelWorks 600P. Can I tell you about it? Maybe you’ll like it and if so I can tell you how you can WIN one!

Good stuff about the Epson LabelWorks 600P

So it’s a label printer, but not just any printer. It does COOL stuff and…..

1 It’s nice and SMALL! Smaller than the span of my hand so it’s easy to put away in a drawer.

2 It works with your mobile phone which makes it super- handy. It connects via Bluetooth and then is simps to use. You can link it to your computer too (Mac or PC). For some reason I didn’t find that bit quite so easy – but I’m not very techie so that was probably just me! Anhyoo I was very happy using it on the iPhone because….

3 …The iPhone app is just FABULOUS! And very fun. Kinda TOO fun. So many fonts and images and styles! I got quite distracted there for a while….

4 You can make the labels as short or as long as you want, and you can HANDWRITE (yup!) and add photos!

5 You can print on RIBBON! Oh look! It took me a few goes to work out the best font to use.

    Hi Julia!
I am opening my very first Etsy shop this week (gingerdoll studio), and if I had this awesome little printer I would print gingerdoll studio ribbon for giftwrapping my items! (That is totally stealing your great idea, I know…). Oh, and I would find a special hiding place for it to keep it safe from kidlets and hubby who would no doubt want to join in the fun : )

I would love to win this to create cute thank you notes to go with my prints and also organise my home office so I can file everything properly and neatly 🙂

OMG I could have so much fun with this label machine and printing on ribbon is just divine that would look great wrapped around my branded foil printed pillow boxes for jewellery or I could use them to make some pretty page markers for a new to do book I am designing… or I could just label and organise the whole house so that everything has a proper place (which is essential to help the little monsters know where things belong).

I’d label “dads nappy” & “mums nappy” on all the nappies, if the label say mum’s then I’ll have to change it… If it says dad’s, then he has no excuse to not change the poopy ones!

As a online sewing pattern retailer, not only do I do lots of label for shipping, but including a printed ‘sewsquirrel’ piece of ribbon label means every time a customer wears their handmade clothing, the label will remind them where they got the pattern from!

I’ll use it to create wonderful labels for the cattery and kennel we’re involved in.

Thanks to The Business Bakery I am finally getting my business sorted on so many levels. Next on the list; getting my packaging in-line with my branding! I want my packaging to reflect the premium product within. I want my clients to experience a feeling of unexpected opulence before they have even opened the box. Their whole experience, start to finish, should leave them with a feeling of surprise and delight. Oh, the FUN I would have designing the new look for my product packaging: ribbons, gift cards, labels… And the CHEER that it would bring to my clients! (and me). My business needs an Epson LabelWorks 600P!

I am about to embark on my dream small business – creating magical children’s parties. I can just imagine how beautiful and enchanting goody bags would be if tied with a ribbon printed with each little party-goer’s name! Oh! <3

Thanks for the chance, this looks amazing!

I have something I must confess
My work’s fridge is a nasty mess.
Those nasty things in the tupperware
Are enough to give anyone a scare.
With my new labeler I could label them all.
I can picture it now – I’d have a ball!
“EAT ME” or “THROW ME AWAY”, whichever is right,
Or “STOP BRINGING TUNA TO WORK, DWIGHT.”
When I’ve had enough of my anonymous fun
I’d label each grape ‘grape’, then go on the run.

How much fun I could have running around putting barcodes on the products in store that don’t have one.
Then I would have to run around and label all my Business Books, Draws in the back room of the shop, everything would have a label.
I could also print up little reminders and stick them to the top of the computer screen, oh the possibilities!!!!!
